Here I have tried to measure via standard benchmark tests how fast the new iPhone 6s is. Using Geekbench3, 3DMARK, GFXBENCH and Antutu we compare the latest iPhone, HTC one and Samsung Galaxy against each other and their earlier generations.
I know there are fans of each, and fair enough they are all nice phones and each to their own choice, but here I just see how they co pare performance wise.

I like the GFXBENCH Manhattan and TRex tests as they are verylike high end game play scenarios, especially important is the long term performance test, which runs the TRex test 30 times and reports the lowest number of frames in a TRex test run from the 30 that were run.  This shows up whether the hardware can actually consistently play a game at a good frame refresh rate over the course of about 30 minutes, which is the total time of the long term performance test.  So it's a good representation of the sort of use the hardware might get playing a game for 30 minutes.  Very interesting results!
